Born in Serbia, Nikola David studied Voice and Music Pedagogy at the Music Academy of Novi Sad. In 1998, he was awarded a scholarship from the Anni-Eisler-Lehmann-Foundation which enabled him to come to Germany in order to complete his artistic postgraduate studies at the Peter-Cornelius-Conservatoire of Mainz. He then performed at major international festivals in Germany as well as making guest performances in Bulgaria, Israel, Norway, Switzerland, Greece, Macedonia and Montenegro.
Also Mr. David’s stage engagements brought him to significant opera houses. As a tenor soloist he interpreted numerous significant roles of the classical repertoire. As oratorio singer he performed on national and international stages with works from Bach, Mozart, Haydn, Schubert, Mendelsohn, Honegger and others. Nikola David is in his fifth semester at the Cantorial School of the Abraham Geiger College and continues his B. A. Jewish Studies at Potsdam University.
