Academy of Anti-discrimination Education 2.0 for Polish teachers

The Auschwitz Jewish Center, Dialog-Pheniben Foundation and Polin Museum are happy to announce a forthcoming course on teaching about antisemitism, romaphobia and hate speech for teachers and NGO activists from Małopolska and Górny Śląsk regions. The Academy of Anti-discrimination Education (AEA) will take place in Oświęcim, Warsaw and Berlin.

AEA features series of 6 weekend session focused on understanding the phenomena of antisemitism, romaphobia and general hate speech as well as training teachers to implement classroom projects on those subjects with dedicated in-class assistance.

The project staff includes Poland’s leading experts on the presented subjects: historians, social psychologists, cultural anthropologists and teacher trainers who will share their experiences with our participants.

Successful graduates of the AEA will be invited for a study trip to Berlin in order to learn from and create connections with German colleagues working in the field of historical and human rights education.
