Kippa from Szymon Kluger's house in Oświęcim
Objects MZ-334-O to MZ-347-O are a collection of typical Jewish kippot. There are seven black leather kippot, one white leather kippah, three black velvet kippot (one with gold and white brocade sewn around the base), two white velvet kippot (one with white brocade and one with silver and white brocade), and one mint green velvet kippah with gold brocade trim. The majority of the kippot are stamped on the inside with inscriptions indicating that they were gifts, primarily from bar mitzvoth from various celebrations in the United States. These kippot must have been sent to Kluger as he never visited the country.
